How Seedance credits work
Credits are used when you generate videos with Seedance 2.1. The exact cost depends on the selected mode, duration, resolution, and whether you use text, image, audio, or video references.
Pick a credit pack that matches your volume — Starter through Professional. Try the generator first with signup trial credits, then upgrade when you're ready.

Choose a smaller pack for testing prompts or a larger pack for repeated creative work. Paid credit packs are designed for ads, social clips, product concepts, storyboard drafts, and campaign experiments.
Start with the generator settings, confirm the output format you need, and review the credit estimate shown on the generate button before submitting a job.
Use the Starter pack when you want to test several prompt directions, compare text-to-video against image-to-video, or confirm whether a style fits your campaign. Basic is a better match for a weekly content workflow with repeated social clips, product variations, or storyboard drafts. Plus gives more room for iteration when a project needs multiple references, alternate camera moves, and several final candidates. Professional is intended for higher-volume teams that expect frequent prompt testing, review rounds, and production-ready exports across multiple campaigns.
Start from your expected number of generations, not just the final number of videos. AI video work usually includes prompt tests, rejected takes, reference changes, and export checks. If you are still exploring a creative direction, choose a smaller pack first. If you already know the format, aspect ratio, and visual style you need, a larger pack usually gives better credit value.
Payments are processed through secure checkout, and paid packs are one-time purchases rather than monthly subscriptions. Review the credit amount, export needs, and refund policy before buying. If a payment or credit delivery issue appears after checkout, contact support with the account email and order details so the team can review the transaction.
Paid packs include commercial-use rights for eligible generated outputs, making them suitable for ads, product concepts, social posts, campaign previews, and client-facing creative drafts. Always review each output before publishing, especially when using reference images, brand assets, people, or third-party materials in a prompt.
